This redesign helped a couple who had moved Uptown to a postwar high-rise from a Downtown loft. Bridging the gap between the two different worlds and inserting lots of fun elements in their live/work space. For their living room, we created a custom bookcase/entertainment unit that allowed space for a small bar and wine storage and then plenty of additional storage to keep the space neat and tidy. Custom radiator/air-conditioner covers made the necessary but often less attractive elements of a post-war high rise pleasant to the eye. And pops of face brick in internal core walls created texture and added charm.
